Front Desk Manager

Description:

Responsible for all hotel operations on a daily basis overseeing a Front Office team as well as; assisting the Guest Service Manager & General Manager with the general operations and upkeep of the hotel.
•Manages all direct bill accounts, vendor billing, and payroll functions.
•Manages daily rate/inventory control, occupancy levels, and all revenues.
•Ensures 100% compliance with training and cleaning programs.
•Assists with direct involvement in sales activities and sales efforts.
•Works in all departments when necessary.
•Hiring and training of new staff members.
•Mentor and coach employees on an on-going basis. Counsel and document, as necessary.
•Covers a standard front desk shift with daily responsibilities.
•Ability to handle guest complaints with poise and dignity, to ensure guest satisfaction and customer retention.
•Assures inspection of rooms daily to ensure cleanliness, placement standards, and proper preventative maintenance when necessary.
