Field Sales


We are currently seeking an experienced Salesman/Relief Dispatcher to help us grow our heavy haul, aggregate and oilfield customer base. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, professional, and dynamic, with a commitment to customer service and integrity.

Job Description


The position of Dispatcher/Salesman is a full time salary position. This position is responsible for maintaining existing customers, gathering additional customer and creating new avenue of growth for the company. As well as, assisting with dispatch when needed, organizing and dispatching drivers and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Building new customer relationships through research, cold calling, business and site visits, and other networking tools.
- Maintaining detailed records of customers and the methods employed to attract sales from those customers.
- Maintain and expand established customer relationships.
- Propose new business ideas and models to maintain growth.
- Develop contracts and quote jobs.
- Maintain knowledge of industry rates to insure we are competitive.
- Meeting sales goals as determined by management
- Travelling to rig locations out of town for sales calls

- Organize drivers and units to effectively meet customer’s needs.
- Communicate with others in the dispatch role to ensure efficient use of equipment.
- Maintain a respectful working relationship with operators to ensure high employee and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate job expectations clearly to drivers so customer satisfaction is ensured.
- Keep detailed records so problems can be documented, isolated and solved.
- Track equipment CVIPs, service intervals and scheduled and unscheduled repairs.

- Follows all NSC safety protocols
- Report all safety concerns and incidents to management.
- Assist in the development of safety programs.

- Fill out and create dispatch sheets
- Record customer information and sales reports
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required

- 3 to 5 years sales/dispatching experience.
- 5 years in the oilfield trucking industry

- Class 1 license (Preferred)
