CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
We are looking for an Experienced CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE. Experience with other Auto Parts Stores / OE Dealership and/or aftermarket parts shops / Sourcing Parts would be an asset. Experience with Auto Service would be considered as well.
Responsibilities include selling parts over the counter, answering phone calls, giving quotes, customer service, stocking the shelves and pricing merchandising.
Autographics Trim & Signs is a fast-paced automotive environment that involves constant interaction with customers in person and over the phone. The role also involves the use of a variety of different methods and processes.
Stocks shelves and merchandise display areas
Ships products back via suppliers preferred shipper, check for damaged goods, sign offs on delivered product
Maintains Inventory Accuracy and Identifies / re-stock Low Stock Levels (eg, common products get ordered and re-stocked).
Locates products in the warehouse.
Operates computer and pricing (computer skills are an asset)
Completes other tasks, as required
The successful candidate will have be full-time, Monday to Friday 8-5 with possible overtime as required. The candidate should have knowledge of automotive parts and accessories. Please apply within, or by responding to this add.
The Automotive Parts Associate works in a fast-paced automotive environment that involves constant interaction with customers in person and over the phone. The role also involves interaction with various vendors using various ordering processes and systems and a responsibility for maintaining the automotive retail floor.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Provides excellent customer service and ensures an ongoing commitment to the needs of the customer and their vehicle.
Smiles, makes eye contact with and greets customers.
Directs or guides to the location of the requested items.
Answers questions and provides friendly advice and services to customers.
Suggests value-added and related products to customers.
Ends the discussion with the customer using a closing statement (eg, "Is there anything else I can do for you today?" "Did you find everything you were looking for?").
Responds to and handles customer inquiries, inquiries and concerns in a timely manner, over the phone and in person.
Handles multiple customers in an effective and efficient manner.
Deals with challenging situations in a professional manner.
Keeps up to date on-store promotions, in-store deals, auto center specials and product rentals.
Sources and orders automotive parts.
Follows established procedures concerning the ordering and sale of customers to the Service Department.
Processes returns, warranties and stock as required.
Ensures that retail basics tasks are efficiently executed (eg, stocking, labels, facing,
Checks shipping areas to get slips from distributors
Maintains Inventory Accuracy and Identifies / orders parts/accessories when low in stock Levels (eg, Hole Check and Bin Cap Analysis).
Locates products in the warehouse.
Can operate computer and pricing gun.
Participates in meetings and all training as required and listens to improve their own abilities.
Complies with company, store, department, and Automotive Service Center policies.
Abides by health and safety programs and regulations. Reports any observed or potential hazards immediately.
Uses professional language and maintains a professional appearance (eg, clean cloths, hygiene and grooming) when interacting with customers.
Completes other tasks, as required.
Demonstrated automotive subject matter knowledge and interest.
Basic math and typing skills.
Good working knowledge of automotive parts.
Ability to operate a cash register is an asset.
Ability to work under minimal supervision with computerized systems.
Experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
