Quality Control Administrator


Progressive Oilfield Construction Company seeks an experienced, hard-working individual to fill a position for QA/QC Administrator. This is a full time permanent position. Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the Fort St John, BC area in order to be considered.

Key Job Duties:
• Manage and maintain quality management system
• Complete turnover QA/QC packages for clients
• Review and properly file QA/QC reports and documentation
• Review and properly file non-conformance reports and corrective action requests
• Create and implement ITP’s
• Assess compliance with the applicable safety codes, procedures, relevant documentation, and commitments
• Support the Quality Control Team in the maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Assist in the creation, organization and filing of documentation to support the Quality Control Team with document requests
• Compile and maintain database of individual welders’ and coating applicators’ qualifications
• Carry out weld inspection, weld mapping and update weld map database
• Ensure the accuracy of quality documents by reviewing all incoming reports
• Other tasks as assigned

• CSA Level 1 Welding Inspection certificate with CSA Z662, ASME & W59 Code Endorsements
• Experience using Acorn piping software
• Experience using Microsoft office 365
• Standard oilfield safety tickets
• Previous experience in a quality role in the Oil and Gas pipeline construction industry
• Reliable and strong work ethic, with an understanding of QA/QC principles
• Ability to read and understand relevant construction documents including drawings, specifications, procedures, and codes of practice
• High school diploma or equivalent; and/or a combination of education and relevant work experience, an asset
• Excellent communication skills: written and verbal skills, listening skills, proven attention to detail, and ability to develop good working relationships

Working Conditions:
• This position is office based with field trips to project locations around the Fort St John, BC area
• The office work schedule is based on 5 days on, 2 day off with 10 hours per shift
• Field work as required, may involve short periods in remote camp location.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
