You are our ideal candidate if you:
Must have: Diploma or Degree in Environmental Sciences or Engineering, or working towards;
Are available to work in Fort St. John and can work extended hours to meet project demands. Work out of town will be required.
Fly in/out camp schedule
Capable of some physical demands in an all-weather work environment
Fully proficient in reading, writing, speaking English; good oral and written communication skills
Valid safety tickets including H2S Alive, First Aid, Ground Disturbance, WHMIS and TDG and/or the willingness to obtain
CNRL SSST training is an asset
Skills: listening, excellent customer service, problem-solving, planning & organizing, proficient with computers and MS applications/programs
Must have clean driving record and able to provide acceptable driver’s abstract;
You must be able to work independently in the field;
Experience working around heavy equipment; and,
Local knowledge and experience with landowners is an asset.

As an Intermediate Site Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:
Lead field work including natural sciences, remediation, and reclamation projects
Assist the project coordinator/manager, both in the field and in the office
Comply with all health and safety requirements
Conduct and direct field sampling programs (soil, GW and SW)
Document site conditions and observations
Complete daily field reports
Use of GPS and communication with project managers and clients
Complete office work including preparation of technical reports
