Kleos Open Learning has had the privilege of providing education since 2004. In 2010 we created a strong focus on supporting families with students who have unique and special learning needs.

Kleos is seeking in person, one-on-one support for a Grade 2 student with a rare form of Cerebral Palsy. The EA will facilitate both academic and therapeutic programming, provide supervision at all times, and assist in daily routines. This position would be approximately 15-20 hours per week, within the school week and calendar. Preference will be given to those with experience/training in working with students with complex special education needs.

You would be required to facilitate a program provided from a distance by a BC certified teacher. Our support staff must be professional, caring, flexible, work well with little supervision, participate in a team-based approach, and comfortable using technology.

The family are located 20 minutes outside of Fort St. John so you must be comfortable with winter driving.

Due to the sensitive nature of this position you must have your flu shot, and be willing to get a COVID shot as soon as it is available. Mask wearing, clean clothes, frequent sanitization is a requirement. Small bubbles and following COVID protocols in public is preferred.

You must complete a criminal record check.

Per hour pay ranges depending on experience and training.
