ROLE
The Parts Person will be responsible for supporting management of parts inventories, stock handling, identifying, and cataloguing parts and assemblies as well as ordering, receiving, inspecting and sorting. Along with tool crib operations, delivery duties, and housekeeping in the warehouse to support the success of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Parts ordering and maintenance of adequate inventories
• Receives ordered parts and checks each item for damage, correct quantities, back orders,
etc.
• Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop
technicians
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all areas of the warehouse, including tool
cribs and surrounding work areas
• Help with pulling orders from printed packing slips for shop repair orders
• Coordinate the parts drivers schedule for pick up and drop offs
• Assists parts drivers in loading and unloading parts
• Utilize checklists, inspections, and work orders to streamline workflow between shop
personnel and Operations Manager
• Assist Operations Manager in monitoring service work in progress
• Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
• Journeyperson Parts Certification is considered an asset
• Three years related experience and/or training
• Valid Driver’s Licence with clean driving record
• Loader and/or Skid Steer Certification
• Ability to use non-powered equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks
• Excellent driving skills and clean driver’s abstract
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs.
