Hilda Bilodeau was acclaimed the new Blizzard Bike Club President at its 22nd Annual General Meeting, Wednesday night at Northern Lights College. Fifteen members were in attendance.
Outgoing, three-time Club President Jack Gladysz reflected on an excellent year. Membership was one hundred and twenty. Club riders brought back medals from the Alberta Cycling Championships and won a spot on the Alberta Team for Abitibi plus excellent local racing results.
Elections were held and Hilda Bilodeau was the new president. Adam Currie and Pat Ferris were both elected as Vice Presidents. Dawn Gladysz returned as Secretary-Treasurer with Wim Kok recording. Directors-at-Large were: Gord Harris, Jack Gladysz, Ed Fornelli, Tessa Bilodeau, Roger St. Jean, Mike Hientzman, Stephen Ferris, Rod Lewis, and Patricia Emery.
The Race Committee is Adam Currie (mountain bikes) Mike Hientzman (cyclo-cross) Pat Ferris (Duathlon) Pat Emery (time trials) Gord Harris (Sunday races) Wim Kok (Rando) and Rod Lewis (stats).
