Fort St. John Mens Basketball Spring 2016 League - Week 3 Results
 Posted on: Mar 03/2016 @ 3:43 pm

In the first game of the night, Team Blue (2-1) looked to keep their high energy play going against the winless White squad (0-3) and got balanced scoring and tremendous passing in the 62-50 win. Jake Hyrcha continued his high scoring dropping 21 points for Blue, while White was led by 15 points from Josh Ward. Blue was in control early, saw White come back within 4 in the second half before pulling away for their second win in a row.

The second game of the night once again saw team Red (1-2) short players and having to run with no bench… which made it an easy run for the undefeated team Black squad (3-0). Team Red’s Ahmed Isse showed deft touch in the paint dropping 18 points while being a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line, while Team Black’s Dan Penner continued his torrent scoring with a 26-point effort. At the final whistle, Team Black sat atop the league by recording an 84-60 victory.
