Entering Week 4 of regular season play, Team Blue was looking to get revenge for their only loss of the season, while Team Black looked to keep their winning streak going. This was one of the best games of the year with solid passing, great shooting and tremendous team play on both sides of the ball. Team Blue jumped to an early, albeit small lead and held on to the final whistle, though Team Black had a 3-point shot to win it (which fell short)… final score was 60-58. Team Blue (3-1) saw balanced scoring with Bryce Legg’s 18 points leading the way (before he fouled out) and Team Black (3-1) countered with Dan Penner’s monster night who scored 18 of his 25 points in the second half.
The theme of Team Red (1-3) being constantly undermanned continued in Week 4 as they played with a 6-man roster and met with a White squad (1-3) that was not going to lose again. In fact, White was so invested in getting their first win that they finally found rhythm behind the 3-point line and jumped to a 30-point lead before the 10-minute mark of the first half. In total, White punched in 12 3-pointers from six different players. Red played an even second half, but it certainly didn’t make up for the first half fiasco and White took the game by a final of 77-48.
