My bottle-fed baby rabbit.

The cutest little menace I’ve ever had.

And unfortunately, the time has come for me to admit that Gaston is officially ready for a loving home.

And NO, I cannot put him in the crockpot.

I love him way too much.

This little dude is ridiculously cuddly, incredibly soft, knows a few tricks, occasionally parkours around the room, and somehow came out about four different colours. He’s basically a mixture of every rabbit I’ve ever owned rolled into one adorable little creature.

And when I say he’s litter box trained, I mean actually litter box trained.

He currently free-ranges in one of the rooms in our house and goes to the bathroom in one spot (litter box).

Unfortunately, he has also become comfortable enough in our home that he has started rearranging furniture and plants. This is becoming detrimental to my relationship.

So it’s time.

Gaston is ready to go to his new home now.

He’s eating solid food, hay and everything else he should be, and he’s old enough to be weaned.

He’s currently down to one bottle a day, so if his new family wanted to continue that for another week before completely weaning him, they absolutely could.

Especially if you have kids, I think that would be such a fun experience for them and a really sweet way to bond with him.I’d really love to see him go somewhere with kids who will handle him, play with him, teach him things and genuinely make him part of the family.

Full disclosure:

He will NOT be a mini rabbit.

He’s going to be a decent-sized boy.

But he has such a fantastic personality, and because he’s been bottle-fed and raised inside with us, he’s incredibly comfortable with people.

This isn’t an easy one for me to let go.

I genuinely love this little guy.

But he needs more attention than I can give him right now, and I’d much rather see him absolutely spoiled by a family who has the time for him.

So if you’ve been watching Gaston’s adventures and secretly thinking you need him…He’s officially ready for his next adventure.

Just know that occasional Gaston updates may be required as part of the custody agreement. lol
