Environmental Field Supervisor
Office Location: Fort St. John, BC
Candidate must be based out of our Fort St. John office and be willing to perform field work in remote locations, including camp-based assignments.
Compensation is based on experience, education, and overall suitability for the role. Our total compensation package includes overtime, extended health benefits with no cost sharing, vacation pay, and a bonus profit-share program designed to favor field staff.

The primary function of the Environmental Supervisor is to safely complete fieldwork programs, manage data and prepare factual reports under the direction of a Senior Environmental Specialist. This position supports Remediation, Reclamation or Natural Sciences projects located in Northeast, BC and includes significant field work activities.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the investigation, remediation, reclamation, or natural sciences field activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and SynergyAspen’s preferred operating procedure.
- Assist with technical report writing on technical reports and proposals.
- Assist with preparation of scopes of work, and cost estimates.
- Adhere to client specific and SynergyAspen’s Health and Safety policies.
- Ensure timely deliverable of assigned tasks.
- Maintain billable targets as set by Supervisor.
- Provide excellent levels of service to our internal and external clients.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
What You Offer SynergyAspen
- 2-year technical diploma or degree in Environmental Sciences.
- 3+ years field experience in Northeast BC, related to remediation/reclamation/natural science.
- Candidates working towards an accredited designation (P.Ag., P.Geo.) recognized in BC is an asset.
- Experience writing technical reports.
- Experience with BCER Regulatory Guidelines is an asset.
- Ability to work outside and potential remote locations in adverse weather conditions, when required.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, specifically Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
