Qualifications and Skills
Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) certification is preferred but is not required.
Experience in Maintenance & Turnarounds, Facility Construction, Civil Earthworks, Decommissioning & Asset Retirement, Regulatory Compliance, Fabrication, Pipeline Deactivation & Abandonments is a must (not all).
10+ years relevant industry and/or operations experience.
5+ years acting as a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager.
Proven record managing increasingly complex multi-functional projects with successful customer outcomes.
Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced team environment and work to timelines.
Strong negotiating skills; exceptional verbal and written communication.
Extensive and exceptional customer relationship/service practices.
Strong leadership skills, with ability to effectively work in a team environment.
High-level technical skills and willingness to learn.
Proven organization and prioritization abilities.
Entrepreneurial work ethic, self-starter with a desire to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
Frequent travel to field locations is required.
Willing to work weekends if required.
Class 5 drivers licenses with clean driver abstract

Summary
We are recruiting for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the safe execution of varying projects in a vast geographical area.
This role is based in Fort St. John British Columbia and is both an office and field position and will require travel and overnight in hotels or camp.
The successful candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously, directing employees and third-party contractors. A key focus for this role will include customer relationship management, risk management and contract/interface management. This position will be reporting to the President of DFA Contracting Ltd.

Role and Responsibilities
Customer relationship management and satisfaction.
Project Management and safe execution.
Project risk identification and management.
Managing scope, cost, schedule, integrated change control and quality in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Accountable for project financials and reporting.
Responsible for signing tickets and integrating with the financial department.
Engaging with Business Development to manage client projects and respond to RFP’s.
Scope future projects and document required work.
Interfacing and leading conversations with outsourced entities, and third-party contractors to produce a quality solution.
Strong collaboration with internal and external project stakeholders.
