Eco-Web Ecological Consulting Ltd. is seeking applicants for full-time Environmental Project Managers, (Registered) Professional Biologists, Professional Foresters, and Professional Agrologists (or other related Environmental Professionals) based out of Fort St John BC. The roles will be a mix of office and field work and the applicant should enjoy working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment that provides rewarding work opportunities. Some remote field work and travel is expected but his will be discussed and varies by position.
We are seeking professionals to provide project management, professional guidance, leadership and advice for a wide range of environmental projects in a variety of resource sectors. Your education, training, and professional designation (RPBio, PBiol, PAg, RPF, will contribute to your compensation which varies by position, typically $35 - $65 / hr plus overtime, travel, professional dues, benefits, and professional development/continuing education. Variation in salary is determined by factors such as position sought, qualifications, relevant years of experience, etc.
Eco-Web is seeking individuals with:
• Project management and organizational skills to coordinate and support team members and manage client expectations, budgets, and equipment.
• Effective relationship, communication, and networking skills to cultivate relationships with clients, regulators, and First Nations.
• Ability to review and prepare professional reports, study designs, and develop project proposals.
• Knowledge of applicable environmental legislation and regulations in BC to ensure legal compliance.
• Enthusiasm for mentoring and training junior team members.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated relevant work experience.
Knowledge of the following is considered an asset:
• Environmental field assessments (fish/wildlife/avian/wetland/vegetation/soils).
• Forestry and Silviculture.
• Reclamation/Remediation.
• Erosion and sediment control plans and implementation.
• Construction Environmental Monitoring/Management
