For Sale; Spotted all leather, med to large pony team, show draft harness.
I purchased this harness from Ontario from a Haflinger driver, for our to HH ponies, as we thought we might like to drive a team. Those plans have changed and I am offering this beautiful harness set for sale.
Harness was dirty when I got it, but it cleaned up Very Nicely and is made of really good quality leather.
It has now been cleaned, conditioned with Co Cho Line and then soaped to help protect it from further dirt and making it Very Easy to keep clean.
The hames are adjustable for a 16 to 18" collar as well as they have hooks to adjust the height of your draft, to match your vehicle's tree height. They can be sprayed to match your vehicle or sprayed black again.
The breeching has gorgeous triple drop: hip straps and spotted carriers.
This is not a New cheap built harness, there are 2 spots missing on the browband of one of the bridles, does not affect function. Some straps have been replaced with good quality leather and hardware used.

Harness measurements are as follows;
Backstraps, measured from hames to center of hipstrap ring; Shortest 36" Longest 44"
Traces, measured from end of trace hook for hame to 1st and last chain links that attach to single tree; Shortest 62" Longest 44"
Breeching strap, around butt 40" end of ring to end of opposite ring.
Triple drop hip straps, measured from center of hip strap ring to breeching set on shortest and longest holes; shortest, 21", Longest 31"
Girth, end of buckle to end of buckle, 17"
Backband, total lengths from shortest to shortest, then longest to longest holes, plus girth;
Shortest 48" plus 17" girth = 65", Longest 65" plus 17" girth = 82" (larger or smaller girths can be used. Bridles are cob/med/lg pony size.

Comes with lines they are Biothane (I think) not leather.
I also have 2 new 16 to 18" adjustable, draft type collars, with pads, to sell separately if someone is interested.
This harness would be beautiful in a parade, or driving for a function or show, on a pony team on a sleigh, or everyday use.
You don't see this quality, pretty harnesses often.
