Description:

As a Bookkeeper, you will be essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth accounting of our day to day operations of the Restaurant, Motel and C-Store/Gas Station. This is an onsite position due to cash and receipts handling plus working with multiple POS systems.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
Record and maintain the company's daily financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, payments and payroll for the Restaurant, Motel and the C-Store/Gas Station
Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation, to maintain accurate financial records.
Utilize accounting software Sage, and similar platforms for data entry and reporting.
Submit GST/PST and payroll deductions
Submit quarterly Worksafe BC premiums
Prepare year end financial reports and T4's
Use MS Excel
Use MS Word
We are located 42km North of Fort St John BC, on the Alaska Hwy and we offer a gas allowance.

Part-time Wednesday to Friday

Expected hours: 24 per week
