Peace Country Rentals, your locally owned and operated rental business since 1977, is looking for two enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Temporary Tent Delivery Drivers for the summer months! If you have a Class 5 driver's license and are seeking temporary employment, this could be a great opportunity for you.

As Fort St. John's longest-standing family rental business, we take pride in providing quality equipment and exceptional service to our community. This summer, we're experiencing high demand for our tents and need your help to ensure timely and efficient deliveries and set up/take downs to our valued customers.


Job Description:

As a Temporary Tent Delivery Driver, your primary responsibilities will include:

Safely and efficiently delivering and picking up tents and related equipment to and from customer locations in and around the Fort St. John area.
Assembly and disassembly of tents.
Loading and unloading tents and equipment, ensuring items are secured properly for transport.
Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance needs.
Providing excellent customer service during delivery and pick-up, answering basic customer questions.
Adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
Assisting with other yard duties as needed when not on deliveries.

What you need to succeed:

Valid Class 5 Driver's License (abstract may be requested).
Physical ability to lift and move tents and related equipment (may involve some heavy lifting).
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Reliability and punctuality are essential.
