We’re hunters. We’re anglers. We're firearms owners. We're recreational shooters. We’re voters. In advance of the October 19, 2024 provincial election, the BC Wildlife Federation, in conjunction with the North Peace Rod and Gun Club, cordially invites you to a town hall meeting on June 20, 2024, at 7 PM at the Lido Theatre. The best way to ensure your voice is heard is to speak with your candidates face-to-face. Make sure that they listen to your concerns and respond. The best opportunity to influence policy on fish, wildlife, access, and firearms and shooting sports is during the election. We will hold our elected officials to their promises if we choose to elect them. Sufficiently funded and effective fish, wildlife and habitat policy based on evidence has not been a priority for successive British Columbia governments and neither has provincial support for law abiding firearms owners — these trends need to be reversed. We hope to see you at the Lido on June 20th.
