FSJNow Classifieds offers 7 different ad types – which you select when creating your ad. Be sure to choose the correct ad type. You cannot change the ad type once your ad is live.

Choose from the following 7 Ad Types:

1. Sell
2. Buy (Wanted)
3. Gift
4. Auction
5. Rent
6. Job – Offer
7. Job – Wanted

In order to participate in an auction, you need to have a registered user account. Once your account is setup, you can click on any auction ad and there will be a bidding box in the sidebar.

Below the bidding box, you will see the minimum bid price. Your bid must be equal to or greater than the minimum bid price.

If you are the Winning Bidder, you will receive an email notification once the auction ends. The auctions you are currently bidding on or have bid on in the past are displayed in your Profile under Auctions.

To promote your ads, navigate to your submitted ads and from the action menu select the last option. It will open a list of all available promo options as well as your current active promos for that particular ad.

Available promotions include:

1. Bump Up Ad (updates your ad creation date while the ad expiry date remains the same)
2. Highlight Ad (bolds your ad so it will stand out from other listings)
3. Top Ad (makes your ad show up at the top of the category page as well as in its regular listing position)
4. Urgent Ad (displays an urgent ribbon across the ad picture)
5. Front Page Ad (makes your ad appear on the front page)

Once you have selected a promotion type and period, you can proceed to the payment screen. Once the payment is made, your promotion will be active. Promotions start from the time the payment clears.

You will need to login to your account in order to see a seller’s phone number or start a messaging conversation.

Once you’ve logged into your account, go to the ad. The phone number will now be visible and a Contact Seller button will appear. You can now send the Seller a message with any questions. Your message conversations are available in your Account under Messages. Go to your Messages to read and respond to messages from Sellers.

You will need to login to your account in order to see a seller’s phone number or start a messaging conversation.

Once you’ve logged into your account, go to the ad. The phone number will now be visible and a Contact Seller button will appear. You can now send the Seller a message with any questions. Your message conversations are available in your Account under Messages. Go to your Messages to read and respond to messages from Sellers.

If you find an ad that you want to re-visit later, you can click the heart symbol to add it to your Favourite Ads List. This list is accessible from your Account Profile.

If you feel an Ad is breaks FSJNow’s site rules or looks suspicious, please report the Ad. You can report any Ad directly from the Ad’s page by clicking on the Report button. The Ad will remain active while the Admin Team reviews it.
