Position: Supported ChildCare Worker
Term Position, September 2018-June2019
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Supported ChildDevelopment Consultant/Supervisor, the Supported Child Care Worker will providethe extra staffing support to the child care centre in order for children withextra support needs to fully participate in the child care setting chosen bytheir families. The Support Worker works as a team member with the childcaresetting staff and with all the children and families providing general supportto the whole program to ensure effective inclusion of the children.
¬∑ Completion of Grade 12
¬∑ Completion of one early childhood educationcourse and / or completion of a child and youth related course, or equivalentcombination of education, training and experience
¬∑ Completion of basic level First Aid andCPR.
¬∑ Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver‚Äôs license and have areliable vehicle for work use
Classification /Salary: $20.07 - $21.94 /hour as per Community Sub Sector CollectiveAgreement
Hours of Work: Term Position: 20 hours/week, excludingstatutory holidays
