Transglobal Business Group Inc. (TBG) is an Indigenous education business that develops and delivers customized education solutions, both in class and online, for Indigenous communities, non-profits and organizations.
We are currently looking for a Marketing Web Developer/Designer who will be responsible for the coding, design and development, layout, and features of websites, emails and standalone landing pages and other digital media according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on professional experience with strong knowledge of content management platforms, and the ability to translate our business needs into client-friendly functions. The incumbent understands both graphic design and computer programing has a great eye for design and detail. Once websites have been created, the Web Developer/Designer will assist with the maintenance, modifications and upkeep of the websites. The incumbent will strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
The incumbent works with the team to decide how the websites will look, the layout, fonts and images to use to create aesthetically pleasing websites. The candidate will work closely and collaborate with the other team members to understand project expectations, brainstorm ideas, create concepts, develop messaging, conduct research, and assist other team members on projects. The incumbent will also work with other team members to work on various marketing campaigns to ensure that sales objectives are met. The goal is to provide a great brand experience for our website users and to generate leads. The Marketing Web Developer/Designer will assist in creating engaging content and have the skills and attention to detail to edit their own work. The incumbent will be creative, innovative and able to easily
adapt to changes.
Your responsibilities will include:
The position entails, but is not limited to the following: ? Create and build websites, microsites and landing pages by using standard HTML/CSS practices and utilize platforms such as WordPress, etc. ? Will design and develop content-related web pages for lead generation. ? Collaborates and partakes with other team members in sales and marketing. ? Use Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles to maximize copy’s reach. ? Collaborate with team to produce websites, sales pages, opt-ins, landing pages, podcast setups. ? Work with Copywriter and Graphics Designer on branding, fonts, colors, layout, sales appeal, and
marketing funnels plan. ? Communicate design ideas using flows, process flows, site maps and wireframes. ? Ensure creative concepts are concise, on-brand, and strategically sound across all mediums. ? Manage and optimize landing pages, website calls-to-action, Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM) and lead-generation forms. ? Work with different content management systems. ? Edit and proofread copy/content to check spelling, grammar, positioning, and accuracy with attention to detail. ? Assist in developing and maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice. ? Manage multiple projects with short deadlines.
Management systems, WordPress, Ecommerce, Shopify WooCommerce, etc. would be an asset. ? Proficient in Microsoft Office software, G Suite, and content collaboration tools. ? Strong comprehension of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications. ? Solid understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles. ? Creative and technical writing required. ? Experience working with Indigenous communities or a demonstrated understanding of Indigenous people would be an asset.
